Eating healthily during pregnancy can include curry and burgers!
Mark and Rebekah have two young children, Evie and Henry and so their focus for vegan meals is for a young family that is growing and full of energy (well the children are). Mark is a professional chef and his working day is creating recipes but at night and at the weekends he dreams up recipes for Pulse and Pea. Because Mark has two young children and a full time job, he tries to cut out cooking that takes forever and, instead focuses on food that is easy to prepare and tastes great. This is important because a lot of people assume that cooking vegan food takes a long time and is complicated. It doesn’t and isn’t, just have a look at some of our recipes!
Evie, Mark and Rebekah’s daughter is 5 years old and she likes to cook. She often comes to visit David and Sarah (aka Pops and GG) and, when she does, she will help Pops cook something that usually has chocolate in it!
Ted is a Labradoodle and has many adventures that often end up with him having a long nap! You can follow Ted on Instagram but on this page there is a bit more detail about Ted.
A great day out at the Tower of London and an inspired vegan bolognese with linguini pasta.
Having Ted the dog means at least an hours walk across the countryside each day and that is really helpful to think through new recipes for the blog. I have decided to try kale and spinach pesto with pasta and make some cookies for Evie. Check out the recipes.
Cookie lives in Switzerland and is friends with Ted. She is a typical chocolate Labrador, very loving and just happy to love someone.
This is Ted and you can follow his adventures here.
