Peanut butter and Sriracha toast
Want a quick snack? Do you like peanut butter? Well this simple dish is both delicious and nutritious. It’s packed full of protein (8.9g per 30gs) and taste wonderful. Not everything that tastes good needs to be complicated and difficult to cook.
Squirting Sriracha sauce on peanut butter seems a little crazy but it adds heat and boosts flavour. It’s a snack that I eat all the time as it’s so easy to make. Every time I have it, it brings a smile to my face because of the surprise heat of the Sriracha sauce.
When you need a quick snack or a light lunch, this dish delivers. If you want, you can add a sprinkle of salt as well. The peanut butter I have, has no added salt and so a little can give an extra flavour boost.
Oh, and don’t worry about the fat content as gram for gram its a healthy food and is a great source of protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals.
